The Senior Account Manager develops service strategy to ensure renewal and retention of members for large, complex public sector account.

Fundamental Components:
  • Serves as “day-to-day”, dedicated service representative for escalated claim, eligibility, billing, and plan setup questions or issues and works in concert with the Account Director/Senior Account Executive; leads service calls with customer/consultant, maintains issue log and ensures prompt resolution.
  • Coordinates open enrollment strategy and planning, ensuring customer and member support.
  • Executes tactical components of the account team’s business plan. Demonstrates proactive ability to diagnose and fix root cause drivers of service problems.
  • Develops and manages service plans in the most proactive and strategic manner possible and finds ways to show customers the value of the products and services they have purchased.
  • Proactively identifies potential service issues and takes steps to resolve those service issues that arise.
  • Takes the lead on management of the integration of clients and Aetna's internal organizations, with full responsibility for ensuring a smooth installation that will be a building block to gaining the trust of key client personnel.
  • Educates customer on Aetna specific policies, product information, and procedures as well as industry issues and related current topics (e.g., health disparities).

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,300
Maximum: 130,000

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

  • Qualified candidates will be in or near Tampa, Florida and will commute to Aetna office location and client locations

  • Ideal candidate will have minimum 4+ years of Account Management, Client Management, Benefits Consulting and/or sales experience
  • Minimum 4+ years working with fully insured clients
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to various audiences; strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Microsoft Suite products
  • Proven experience improving constituent-focused processes

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Life, Health, and Variable Annuity License in the state of Florida upon hire or within 60 days of hire, as required by state law and federal regulations

Preferred Qualifications
  • Public & Labor experience helpful
  • Bachelor's Degree

Education
High School diploma and relevant experience
